Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our bonded warehousing, batch delivery, and door-to-door distribution services across the Asia-Pacific region.

Category 01

Bonded Warehousing

Our bonded warehouses are equipped to handle a wide range of chemical products, including industrial chemicals, specialty chemicals, petrochemicals, and hazardous materials (subject to compliance). All storage facilities comply with international safety standards and local Hong Kong regulations. We maintain temperature-controlled zones, segregated storage areas for incompatible chemicals, and full MSDS documentation management.

What are the key advantages of using a bonded warehouse in Hong Kong?

Hong Kong's free trade status offers several strategic advantages for chemical storage and distribution:

  • Duty deferral: Import duties and taxes are suspended until goods leave the bonded zone, improving cash flow.
  • Re-export flexibility: Goods can be redistributed to multiple Asia-Pacific destinations without full import procedures.
  • Strategic location: Proximity to major Southeast Asian markets reduces transit times significantly.
  • Simplified customs: Consolidated customs clearance for multiple shipments under one framework.
How long can goods remain in the bonded warehouse?

Storage duration is flexible and tailored to your supply chain needs. Standard agreements cover 30 to 180 days with options for extension. Long-term storage contracts are available for customers with ongoing distribution requirements. We provide real-time inventory visibility through our digital platform, along with monthly storage reports and expiry notifications to help you manage stock efficiently.

What documentation is required to store goods in your bonded facility?

Standard documentation requirements include:

  • Commercial invoice and packing list
  • Bill of lading or airway bill
  • Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for all chemical products
  • Certificate of Origin (where applicable)
  • Import/export licenses for regulated substances

Our compliance team will guide you through the complete documentation process.

Category 02

Batch Delivery

How does your batch delivery service work?

Once your goods are stored in our bonded warehouse, you can instruct us to release shipments in scheduled batches based on your production schedule or customer demand. You set the quantities, destinations, and timing -- we handle all the logistics including customs clearance, documentation preparation, and carrier coordination. This model allows you to import in bulk (reducing per-unit freight costs) while distributing flexibly to end customers.

What is the minimum batch size for a delivery order?

Minimum batch sizes vary by product type and destination. For general chemical products, we typically require a minimum of 1 metric ton per delivery order. For specialty or high-value chemicals, smaller quantities may be accommodated. There is no upper limit -- full container loads can be dispatched in a single batch. We recommend discussing your expected delivery frequency and volumes during the initial consultation so we can design the most cost-effective arrangement for your needs.

Which countries and regions do you support for batch delivery?

We provide batch delivery services across the Asia-Pacific region with established logistics corridors to:

Mainland China (all major ports)
Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia
Malaysia & Singapore
Philippines & Myanmar
South Korea & Japan
India & Bangladesh

For destinations outside this list, please contact us -- we can often arrange delivery through our global carrier network.

How do I track the status of my batch shipments?

All customers receive access to our digital tracking portal where you can monitor inventory levels, delivery order status, customs clearance progress, and estimated arrival times in real time. Automated notifications are sent at key milestones -- departure from warehouse, customs clearance completion, and delivery confirmation. A dedicated account manager is also available to provide personalized updates and resolve any issues promptly.

Category 03

Door-to-Door Distribution

What does your door-to-door service include?

Our door-to-door service is a fully managed end-to-end solution covering every step from our warehouse to your customer's facility:

  • Pick, pack, and label preparation at our bonded warehouse
  • Export customs declaration and documentation
  • International freight (sea, air, or multimodal)
  • Import customs clearance at destination country
  • Last-mile delivery to your specified address
  • Proof of delivery confirmation
How do you handle customs clearance in destination countries?

We maintain a network of licensed customs brokers and freight partners across the Asia-Pacific region who specialize in chemical product imports. Our team prepares complete and accurate customs documentation to minimize clearance delays. We proactively monitor regulatory changes in each destination country and advise customers on compliance requirements. For complex regulated substances, our compliance specialists provide dedicated support to ensure smooth and lawful entry.

What are the typical transit times for door-to-door delivery?

Transit times depend on the destination and chosen transport mode. Typical estimates from our Hong Kong warehouse:

Destination Sea Freight Air Freight
Southeast Asia 5-10 days 2-4 days
South Korea / Japan 4-7 days 2-3 days
India / South Asia 10-18 days 3-5 days
Mainland China 3-5 days 1-2 days
Do you offer supply chain financing alongside the door-to-door service?

Yes. We offer optional supply chain finance solutions designed to address the capital turnover challenges common in cross-border chemical trade. Options include deferred payment terms, invoice financing, and flexible credit arrangements. These services are available to qualified customers and can be structured alongside your warehousing and logistics contract. Our finance team will assess your requirements and propose a suitable solution during the onboarding consultation.

How is liability and cargo insurance handled during delivery?

All shipments under our door-to-door service are covered by standard carrier liability. We strongly recommend -- and can arrange -- comprehensive all-risk cargo insurance for chemical shipments, which provides broader coverage for loss, damage, and contamination events. Insurance certificates are provided for each shipment. For hazardous materials, specialized chemical cargo insurance is available. Our logistics team will advise on appropriate coverage levels based on your cargo value and risk profile.
